Day 1 :   arrive mexico city

Arrive at Mexico City – a fascinating capital that charms the visitor with endless options. Rest of the day at leisure. Located west of the historic center, the Plaza de la Republica is home to the newly refurbished Revolution Monument and National Museum. Chapultepec Park, the largest in Mexico City, is divided into three sections and home to several of capital’s top tourist attractions, including Chapultepec Castle, the Modern Art Museum and the National Museum of Anthropology. Keep in mind that, with a few exceptions, most museums and archaeological sites in Mexico City are closed on Mondays.You’ll also want to explore the neighborhoods of Zona Rosa, Roma, Condesa, Coyoacan and San Angel. Home to lovely parks, plazas, shops, markets, cafes and some of the top tourist attractions in Mexico City, these artsy neighborhoods are especially popular among visitors to the city and foreign residents. Nearby, in the trendy posh neighborhood of Polanco you’ll find some of Mexico City’s top nightspots and chic restaurants. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 :   mexico city – city tour

After breakfast at the hotel, morning visit the Anthropology Museum (closed on Mondays) it is located on Reforma Ave, this spectacular museum assembles the most incredible archaeological and ethnographic heritage. Continue to visit National Palace with Diego Rivera Murals, Zocalo Square and Metropolitan Cathedral embodying centuries of history and refinement, Mexico’s historic city centre harbors more than 1500 buildings that constitute the beating heart of the country. Transfer back to the hotel in the afternoon. Meals are not included. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 :   mexico city – teotihuacan – mexico city

After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to visit 3 Culture Square and Guadalupe shrine and continue to Teotihuacan (42 kms), Teotihuacan, which means the place where men become gods. These are among the most important pre-Hispanic ruins in the Americas due to their masterful urban layout, the monumental architecture and the strong religious and political influence that Teotihuacan held over other cities, here we will visit the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. In the evening return back to Mexico City. Transfer back to the hotel in the evening. Meals are not included. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 :   mexico – merida

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport to take the domestic flight to Merida (airticket cost is supplement and not added in package). Arrive Merida and check in at hotel. Day at leisure in Merida. Merida is the capital and largest city in Yucatan state and the cultural and financial capital of the region. It’s a modern, cosmopolitan city with museums, art galleries, restaurants, shops and boutiques. A major center of commerce, Merida Yucatan is considered the crossroads of the region and one of the most important places to experience the Mayan heritage. Meals are not included. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 :   merida – uxmal / kabah – merida

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for tour of Uxmal and Kabah sites. Uxmal – located 80 kms of Merida is a real jewel of the classic Maya style, where the Maya expressed their beliefs in their temples designs the temple of the diviner (built by a short man who was the king, according to a legend) the nuns quadrangle (where you may admire the splendor of Puuc style in its flat walls and decorated friezes) and the governor’s palace. This is considered one of the most beautiful buildings. Kabah – City known as the second greatest religious center of the Puuc style. It communicates with Uxmal via a sacbe (Mayan Road) that originates in El Arco, main door to the city. The most outstanding building is the Palacio de los Mascarones shows its impressive façade composed of 250 large masks of the God Chaac, carved in stone. Lunch is included in the tour. Evening return to the hotel. Dinner is not included. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 :   merida – chichen itza – cancun or playa del carmen

After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Chicen-Itza, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, you will be transported to pre-Hispanic times to discover the secrets that hold the most important monuments – the Castle or Pyramid of Kukulcan, where every year during the spring equinox think of a natural phenomenon of light and shadows projected on the steps of the Great Pyramid, lowering the image of the “feathered serpent”. Lunch is included on the tour. Then proceed to either Cancun (3 hrs / 6 min) OR Playa Del Carmen (3 hrs / 40 min). Arrive at either Cancun (3 hrs / 6 min) OR Playa Del Carmen (3 hrs /40 min). Rest of the day at leisure to explore the places on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 :   cancun or playa del carmen

After breakfast at the hotel, full day at leisure. Cancun is an ideal vacation spot with 14 miles of pristine white beaches, crystalline waters and sipping on margaritas. It boasts of great 5 golf courses, incredible coral reefs for snorkeling and scuba diving and if lying on a white-sand beach with the clear blue Caribbean lapping at your suntanned toes is what you long for, then Cancun delivers. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are in and around Cancún making it Latin American’s most important leisure destination. In Cancun you can visit the Nichupte Lagoon – Cancun’s resort zone has preserved areas and sanctuaries that are thriving ecologically. The enormous Laguna Nichupte borders the resort zone. It is rich with waterfowl, fish, crocodiles, shellfish, and mangrove vegetation. A unique “jungle tour” allows visitors to navigate the Lagoon’s canals in their own two-seater wave-runner, as guides point out special flora and fauna.Joggers, bicyclers, and walkers can enjoy picture perfect mornings along the seaside and lagoon side pathways. Many of the marinas in Cancun are now offering an eco-adventure through the Nichupte Lagoon they have dubbed the jungle tour. Manning your own two-person water craft, take a guided tour through the dense mangrove forests to a section of the largest coral reefs in the world where you can snorkel, sunbathe and relax before returning to the marina.Other excursions to the reefs are in glass-bottom boats, where the fish and coral can be eyed without ever getting wet. Jet skis and waverunners can be rented at most marinas for selfguided excursions on the lagoon. Water skiing is also popular on the lagoon. Although Cancun is much more than a beach resort, any discussion of this destination would be incomplete without a summary of our marvelous stretches of cool, white sand. Walking along the 14 miles of Caribbean coast in Cancun is what most visitors desire, and it’s all free – all beaches in Cancun are open to the public. Many of the hotel beaches have lounge chairs laid out under palapas (thatched umbrellas) to shade visitors from the considerable effects of the Mexican sun.Cancun is perfectly surrounded by three unique bodies of water, each beautiful in its own way. The Caribbean Sea has the liveliest surf, perfect for jumping waves and frolicking.

Day 8 :   depart cancun or playa del carmen

Early morning check out and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
